The world’s first clinical-grade multimodal oral pathology AI model, HXDental-PathAI, has recently commenced operational use in the Pathology Department of West China Hospital of Stomatology. Jointly developed by the hospital’s pathology department and Westlake University, this model deeply integrates specialized oral pathology expertise with cutting-edge AI technology. It aims to build a “digital-intelligent brain” for oral pathology diagnosis, injecting new momentum into the industry’s standardization, digital/intelligent transformation, and equitable development.
