On September 25, the British think tank Z/Yen Group, in collaboration with the China Development Institute, released Global Financial Centers Index 38 (GFCI 38). According to the report, the top ten global financial centers are New York, London, Hong Kong (China), Singapore, San Francisco, Chicago, Los Angeles, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Seoul. Notably, Chengdu ranked 38th globally in terms of comprehensive financial competitiveness, rising by one position from the previous report. In the subcategory of fintech, Chengdu ranked 16th globally, rising by two positions compared to the previous ranking.
