On September 2, Sichuan Zhongxin General Electric Co., Ltd. dispatched five 17.5-meter-long flatbed trucks carrying prefabricated cabin-type substation modules from Chengdu Xinjin District to Aktau port in Kazakhstan. As a crucial node on the CHINA RAILWAY Express route across the Caspian Sea, the container hub in Aktau port stands as a benchmark project for the high-quality Belt and Road cooperation between China and Kazakhstan. The prefabricated cabin-type substation will function as the port’s power core, ensuring stable power supply for container transshipment, inspection, hazardous item treatment, and other works. The substation is expected to be operational by the end of this year.
