Recommended and supported by the Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Chengdu Municipality, West China Couture Fashion Center from Chengdu’s Jinniu District participated as the only invited representative of Chinese fashion enterprises in the International Festival of Creative Industries held from August 18 to 24 in Ekaterinburg, Chengdu’s friendship city in Russia. West China Couture Fashion Center engaged in the festival’s fashion sector events, highlighting Chengdu’s fashion ecosystem and strengths in fashion supply chains. It promoted Chengdu’s regional specialties, such as Shu brocade and silk, to global markets and secured preliminary cooperation intentions for fabrics and manufacturing. Additionally, the center will facilitate the introduction of Russian brands into Chengdu and foster the integration of relevant industrial resources.
