On June 26, Hurun Research Institute released Global Unicorn Index 2025, featuring unlisted companies around the world founded after 2000 with valuations exceeding USD 1 billion. A total of 1,523 unicorn companies around the world have been included in the ranking. Among them, nine unicorn companies are from Chengdu: heath technology company Medlinker; logistics companies Jusda, Fresh-SCM, and Juma; biotechnology company WestVac; media company Xinchao; food and beverage company Shuyi; Software as a Service (SaaS) company Fiture; entertainment company Coco Cartoon.
