Recently, nine high-quality breeding Jianzhou big-eared goat from Jianyang City, Chengdu departed from Chengdu Tianfu International Airport for Uganda, Africa. Known as one of the “Ten Treasures of Tianfu”, Jianzhou big-eared goat is the second high-quality meat goat breed cultivated in China and the first such breed developed in Chengdu since the founding of the People’s Republic of China. This export marks Chengdu’s proactive participation in global agricultural cooperation and Belt and Road cooperation, a historic testament to the outcomes achieved in the development of Chengdu’s livestock breeding “core technology”, a milestone in the cross-provincial and global expansion of agricultural specialty products labeled with “Chengdu Brand”, and a significant step in introducing China’s homegrown high-quality meat goat breed to the world.
