On May 19, Huawei launched two personal computers in Chengdu—the HUAWEI MateBook Pro and HUAWEI MateBook Fold Ultimate Design—marking the debut of its HarmonyOS in the PC sector. The release signifies China’s breakthrough in developing a self-controlled operating system from the kernel level, as well as a major milestone in domestic OS innovation for personal computers.
