From January to April 2025, Chengdu recorded over 45,000 low-altitude cultural tourism flights, including aerial sightseeing and skydiving activities—an 18.1% year-on-year increase. According to the 2025 China Low-Altitude Economy City Development Index report, which evaluates the low-altitude economic development of 58 cities nationwide, Chengdu ranks third in China. Chengdu has developed 14 application scenarios across sectors such as “low-altitude + cultural tourism”, “low-altitude + logistics”, “low-altitude + vocational education”, and “low-altitude + emergency response”, with 71 flight routes already launched.
