On April 18, Chengdu Customs released the latest foreign trade data, showing that in the first quarter of 2025, Sichuan’s total import and export volume exceeded RMB 250 billion for the first time in an opening quarter. Chengdu served as the main driving force behind Sichuan’s foreign trade growth, with its import and export volume surpassing RMB 200 billion in the first quarter.
