In just three months, several air logistics companies—including SF Airlines, China Southern Air Logistics, Sichuan Airlines, and JD Airlines—have actively introduced freighter aircraft successively. This aligns with the latest data released by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC). On March 30, China’s civil aviation sector officially began implementing the summer-autumn flight schedule. In the new season, CAAC has approved 5,434 international cargo flights per week for domestic and overseas airlines—a year-on-year increase of 18.1%. Since the beginning of this year, Chengdu has accelerated the development of a domestic air cargo connectivity network, while also expanding international all-cargo flight routes. Direct cargo flights to Dhaka, Delhi, and Amsterdam have already been launched, with a new direct route to Dubai set to open on March 26. In the first two months of this year, the total foreign trade via Chengdu’s aviation ports reached RMB 101.59 billion, a year-on-year increase of 21.8%, setting a new record high compared to the same period in history.
