Sightseeing Tour Buses Add Festive Flavors

Authors: Go Chengdu

The bus combines concepts of tourism and folk culture, allowing tourists to enjoy local culture while experiencing Chengdu's most representative attractions.
A batch of sight-seeing buses, lavishly decorated with auspicious Spring Festival designs, have hit the road in the city. The operation of the buses, in service during the period of Feb.10-21, is a new move by Chengdu CITY TOUR to provide an alternative transportation linking several major tourist destinations in the city, as well as to put on an eye-catching sight and add to the festival atmosphere during the Spring Festival holiday.
The sightseeing buses have three lines ― the Panda Sightseeing Line, Cultural Sightseeing Line 1 and Cultural Sightseeing Line 2 ― running on the routes connecting major tourists attractions in urban Chengdu, including Chunxi Road, Wide and Narrow Alleys, Wuhou Shrine Museum, Du Fu's Thatched Cottage Museum, Jinsha Site Museum and Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding.
