State-owned Museums in Sichuan Waive Admission for Medics

To express their deep respect and gratitude to the nation's medical workers, all state-owned museums in Sichuan are offering them free admission for a year once they reopen.
More than 10 museums, galleries and scenic spots in Chengdu will waive entrance fees within the year for the country's medical workers who have made important contributions to anti-epidemic work, local authorities said.
According to local news reports, the venues include Sichuan Museum, Chengdu Wuhou Shrine Museum, Chengdu Dufu Thatched Cottage Museum, Chengdu Jinsha Site Museum, Zigong Dinosaur Museum, Sichuan Guanghan Sanxingdui Ruins Museum, Guang'an Former Residence of Deng Xiaoping Exhibition Hall, Zigong Salt History Museum, etc. Major provincial and municipal museums will provide free audio guide and other services to the public.
The state-owned theaters in the province will also provide free tickets for performances for healthcare workers and police officers on the front lines of the fight against the COVID-19, and 30% discount will be offered to family members of medical personnel. The Sichuan Grand Theatre will give a special gift card to the medical staff and police personnel, who can watch special shows for free and enjoy 20% discount for other performances through to the end of 2020.
