Du Fu's Thatched Cottage Museum in western Chengdu is a park and museum in honor of Du Fu, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907).

It is the best site to know about the history of Chengdu. More than 5,000 artifacts of gold, jade, bronze, ivory and stone were unearthed at the site.
