Tourists Limit of Panda Base during Spring Festival

The Panda Base will limit the number of tourists during the Spring Festival (Jan. 24-30).
In order to guarantee the operation of Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding (the Panda Base) and to offer a comfortable and safe environment for tourists, the Panda Base will limit the number of tourists during the Spring Festival holidays (Jan. 24-30).
During the Spring Festival, the Panda Base will suspend ticketing (online ticketing included) when the number of tourists in the area reach 22,000. Ticketing will be resumed when the number comes below 22,000.
Hours of Ticketing Service: 7:30-17:00
Hours of Opening: 7:30-18:00
Tourists can buy tickets at the ticket office or self-service ticketing machines of the Panda Base. Online ticketing is available on websites like trip.com, travelgo.com, etc.
The tourist peaks at the Panda Base in the coming Spring Festival are expected during the period of Jan. 26-29, and tourists are advised to pay attention to official website, Weibo and Wechat of the Panda Base.
