Canadian-Born Pandas Return to Chengdu

The Canadian-born panda pigeon pair, Jia Panpan and Jia Yueyue, came back to Chengdu on Jan. 12.
It's the first time for the pigeon pair to step on China's land since they were born as well as to celebrate Spring Festival in their motherland.
In Mar. 2013, giant pandas Da Mao and Er Shun were sent to Canada to launch a 10-year Sino-Canada cooperation agreement on giant panda.
Two year later, on Oct. 13, 2015, the female giant panda Er Shun gave birth to the pigeon pair, which were the first panda twins born in Canada. They cubs enjoy great popularity in the North American country and even Canadian Prime Minister attended their naming ceremony.
