Lodz is the third largest city in Poland. Located in the central part of the country, it has an approximate population of 850,000. As the terminus of the rail cargo service between Chengdu and Europe, the city is an important transport hub and logistics center in Poland, with the largest inland container terminal in the country. It takes less than 3 hours from Lodz to major cities in Poland thanks to its favorable geographical location and well-developed traffic infrastructure.
Lodz is a thriving center of academic life in Poland.
