American experts visit Chengdu Medical City

A delegation from the Brigham and Women's Hospital of Harvard University (BWH) visited Chengdu Medical City, a cluster of medical companies and institutes in Chengdu’s Wenjiang on January 25.
Steven Thompson, BWH senior vice president, led the delegation to visit the medical industrial clusters in Wenjiang and coordinated an exchange of their ideas with local experts and government officials.
The two sides pledged to seek cooperation to improve quality, safety and access to advanced and wide-spread public medical care.
As an international leader in the area of medicine, BWH has a legacy of excellence that continues to grow year after year. It is an internationally known referral center for the most complex cases in nearly all areas of medicine including cancer, cardiology and heart surgery.
