Chengdu Residents’ Income Growth Tops Deputy-provincial Cities in H1 2017

According to the survey data released August 28 by the Chengdu office of the National Bureau of Statistics, Chengdu’s resident income growth ranked third among the country’s 15 deputy-provincial cities in this year’s first half.
In the first six months, the per capita disposable personal income (DPI) of local urban and rural residents amounted to RMB19,978 and RMB10,891 respectively, up 8.3% and 9.3% year on year.

Chengdu’s GDP reached RMB1.08trillion in 2015, increasing 7.9% year on year, and 1.0% higher than the national average, the Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Statistics announced the number on January 27th.
