The programme is based on the acceleration mode of American company TechStars, with projects involving digitalization, production and women founders in Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch. The environment for innovation and entrepreneurship in Chengdu is dynamic and there are a lot of hi-tech innovators and entrepreneurs here. The Consulate General of New Zealand in Chengdu is able to offer some help and support to the makers, but the most important is the exchanges and communications between themselves.
At the session, the local entrepreneurs exchanged views with Mr.Crozier. He said, "Chengdu people are really like New Zealanders in all aspects. They are very down-to-earth and creative, and like the work-life balance."
