The contract-signing ceremony of major projects was held at Chengdu Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone (CDHT) on May 13.
The eight major projects with a total investment of RMB4.5 billion (approx. US$726 million) include German chemical company BASF, US-based Liberty Insurance, Migu Music, Zhen Xin Technology Company, Australia’s biggest engineering company Worley Parsons Ltd, covering a wide scope of strategic and emerging sectors on information technology, mobile Internet, biological science, biomedical engineering and so on.
Three projects among the signed projects, worth RMB3.8 billion (approx. US$613 million) and accounting for 80% of the total investment, will settle in the Singapore-Sichuan Hi-Tech Innovation Park.
