At the forum, more than 10 young entrepreneurs from Chengdu and their French counterparts exchanges views on how to develop mutual partnership in hi-tech innovation. Just a few days ago, an innovation team from Sophia Antipolis attended the 2016 China (Chengdu) Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fair (GIEF) in Chengdu on June 24th Beijing time.

Sophia Antipolis is the largest hi-tech industrial development zone in Europe founded over 40 years ago. Currently, it is home to more than one thousand hi-tech companies and R & D institutions with researchers from more than 70 countries around the world.

According to an agreement on mutual cooperation, both parties, aimed to become a window of opening-up and partnership in each other's countries, will exchange and collaborate in the fields of technological innovation, trade and investment. The two parks will launch various events and programs focusing on hi-tech industries, and innovation & entrepreneurship, to facilitate the mutual cooperation and development in hi-tech projects.

In addition, the two parties will work together on educational training programs, exchange visits of representatives from hi-tech companies and enterprises, who will become top management members of the companies in the parks. And both sides will set up representative offices in each other's parks.
