World’s No.1 FinTech Makerspace to be Operational in Chengdu

Financial Wheat Field, the 3rd phase of the Jiao Zi Fintech Dreamworks, is expected to get operational before June here in the city.
The Jiao Zi Fintech Dreamworks project, launched by the Chengdu Jiaozi Financial Holding Group Co., Ltd., is the first makerspace for fintech companies and teams in the country. Focusing on such fields involving big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and blockchain, it is committed to developing a fintech industrial cluster in the city with national influence.
The Jiao Zi Fintech Dreamworks encompasses the 7,000-square meter Tianfu International Financial Center, which was put into use in November 2016, the 52,000-square meter Jiaozi Fintech Center, that was launched in last July, as well as the under-construction makerspace, a 37,000-square meter cornfield-shaped structure. Upon completion, the massive complex will be the largest makerspace focusing on fintech industry in the world.
Currently, the Jiao Zi Fintech Dreamworks is home to 102 domestic and overseas fintech teams and more than 1,700 professionals. It is slated to expand to nearly 100,000 square meters for a total of 300 fintech companies and 10,000 practitioners later this year.
