Currently, departments and organizations concerned in China and Europe are working energetically on bringing more excellent cultural exhibitions and shows to Sichuan.
As the first cultural event launched by Sichuan in a top European museum, The Spirit of Everything·Night of Sichuan in UK, co-hosted by the Information Office of the Sichuan Provincial People's Government and Sichuan Cyberspace Administration, kicked off at the National History Museum of the UK in London, on December 9 local time. It attracted quite a few of representatives from the fields involving culture, museums and digital industries in both China and Britain.
The exhibition, presented by texts, pictures, videos, as well as AR/VR technologies, showcases the charm of the giant panda and ancient Shu Civilization, which are the unique cultural symbols of Sichuan.
The Spirit of Everything·Night of Sichuan in UK
Sichuan has been keeping a close partnership with European museums over the recent years. In late 2018, a Sichuan delegation visited the UK, Austria and the Netherlands, and reached consensuses on future collaborations with local cultural institutions. On the summer of this year, the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, hosted by the National History Museum of the UK, was held at the Chengdu Museum, receiving more than 470,000 visitors in 42 days. Currently, departments and organizations concerned in China and Europe are working energetically on bringing more excellent cultural exhibitions and shows to Sichuan.
