Southwest China’s First Hydrogen Charging Station Gets Operational in City

On February 28, the first gaseous hydrogen charging station in southwest China, invested by the Sichuan Province Natural Gas Investment Co., Ltd., was put into use in Pidu District, Chengdu.
The pilot station with a floor area of roughly 5,065 square meters, is capable of discharging, pressurizing, and metering gaseous hydrogen. It can charge 5 to 10 hydrogen vehicles in succession, with a daily charging capacity of 400kg at the maximum.
According to estimation, 1kg gaseous hydrogen can enable a small car to run 100 kilometers.
