Pure Electric New Energy Passenger Vehicle, Lithium-ion Battery Project Settled in Chengdu

On September 6, Jianyang city government established a strategic partnership with FDG Electric Vehicles and Kunlun Stone Investment Buyout Funds in Chengdu.
The three parties planned to invest RMB16 billion in a pure electric new energy passenger vehicle and lithium-ion battery manufacturing facility in Jianyang. With an annual production of 400,000 vehicles, the project is such one involving manufacturing with the largest-ever investment in Jiangyang.
Upon the completion of the project, it is expected to realize a yearly production value of RMB100 billion and an annual tax revenue of RMB6.5 billion.
FDG Electric Vehicles is an international corporation that specializes in the R&D, manufacture, and sales of new energy and electric vehicles, and major components. Its subsidiary Changjiang EV is the second car maker in China that is qualified to manufacture electric cars.
