On March 28, a train of the China-Europe Railway Express (Chengdu), loaded with 130,000 masks, 752 surgical gowns and 2,000 forehead thermometers, departed from Chengdu and will arrive in Poland’s Lodz 12 days later.

With cargo space ordered a few days ago, these are the largest volume of medical supplies for COVID-19 prevention and control sent from China to Europe in recent days. Through the "Green Channel" for medical supplies to fight COVID-19 opened by local customs, as well as railway and other departments, it just took four days to finish factory shipment, container packing and transfer, and customs declaration, inspection and clearance.
"Next, we will ship more medical and living goods to Europe by train," a representative from the trade company which provided the goods said.
