Direct Chengdu-Mauritius Chartered Flight Launched

The direct Chengdu-Mauritius direct chartered flight was open on February 5. It is the first non-stop air service between central and western China and Africa.

The direct Chengdu-Mauritius direct chartered flight was open on February 5. It is the first non-stop air service between central and western China and Africa. The flight was operated by Airbus A340-300 aircraft and the flying time was nine and a half hours.

Carrying 298 passengers, the flight will land in Mauritius at 8:00am, February 5 (local time).

The service will be operated by chartered flights at the initial stage, and by regular passenger flights after a certain period of time.

New Int’l Direct Flights to Chengdu to Open

Chengdu is expected to open direct flight routes to Mauritius, Colombo and Moscow in 2015.
