This year, Chengdu tops all new first-tier cities in China in terms of business impact for the fourth consecutive year, according to the latest business impact ranking for Chinese cities released May 24 by the Chinese research institute focusing on the new first-tier cities in China, an affiliate of the China Business News.

As those in previous years, this year's list is also based on such five indicators highlighting the Chinese cities' concentration in business resources, transportation mobility and accessibility, urban vitality, diversity of lifestyles and future resilience.

The list ranks 337 Chinese cities based upon big data from 170 brands, 18 Internet companies and some service institutions. The 15 cities rated as the China's new first-tier cities include Chengdu, Hangzhou, Chongqing, Wuhan, Suzhou, Xi'an, Tianjin, Nanjing, Zhengzhou, Changsha, Shenyang, Qingdao, Ningbo, Dongguan and Wuxi. Chengdu has so far topped the list for 4 straight years.
