Chengdu Ranks 5th in Financial Competitiveness

The CFCI is a comprehensive evaluation of financial centers in the Chinese mainland.
According to the 11th edition of China Financial Centers Index (CFCI), released on Dec.19 by China Development Institute, Chengdu ranked 5th among the cities in the Chinese mainland in terms of financial competitiveness, up one place over the last edition.
The CFCI, first published in 2009 and updated every year, is a comprehensive evaluation of financial centers in the Chinese mainland in order to provide observations and suggestions for promoting competitiveness of the financial centers.
Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Tianjin, Chongqing, Nanjing, and Wuhan ranked the top 10 financial centers in the report.
