Chengdu Girl Ren Qian Wins Olympics Gold Medal

Chinese diver Ren Qian, a 15-year girl from Chengdu, won the Rio 2016 Olympics Women’s 10-meter platform diving final.
On the morning of August 19 Beijing Time, Chinese diver Ren Qian, a 15-year girl from Chengdu, won the Rio 2016 Olympics Women's 10-meter platform diving final, becoming the youngest gold medalist at the Rio Olympics. This is the 20th gold medal won by the Chinese delegation at the event.
Ren Qian was born in Chengdu in 2001. She became the silver medalist in the women's 10m platform at the 2015 FINA World Championships.
