The cities of Chengdu and Daegu, the Republic of Korea, will establish sister city relationship this year, according to official sources from Chengdu Municipal Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office.
Daegu is Chengdu’s second sister city in South Korea. The move will further speed up cooperation and exchange in trade, tourism, education and culture, etc., between the two cities.
“Daegu is the third largest city and one of the economic and logistics centers in South Korea and plays a dominant role in the country’s textile, machinery and metallurgic industries,” said an official from Chengdu Municipal Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office.

Chengdu, Fiss Establish Friendly & Cooperative Ties
The cities of Chengdu and Fiss, Morocco signed a memorandum on establishing the friendly and cooperative relationship in Fiss May 21 (local time) during the 3rd Fiss International Sister-city Conference.
