As many as 350 industry leaders, journalists from 500 media outlets, and more than 10,000 Tencent partners and professionals, gathered together to probe into the content ecosystem and cutting-edge technologies for the Internet industry.

During the two-day event, which was themed "Open and Creation," Tencent revealed the latest opening policies and ecological strategies for dozens of its product lines, including QQ, Wechat, MyApp, Tencent Cloud, QQ Music and LBS. And it showcased over 130 projects developed by Tencent and its partners.

Among the forums held on the afternoon of the first day, the one on the artificial intelligence (AI) was the biggest highlight. Tecent announced its general plan on the development of the AI applications, its latest R & D progresses, as well as its AI.QQ.COM program.

The program is expected to assist over 1000 business partners by providing 100 AI technologies, incubating 100 AI star-up projects, and initiating 300 "Cloud Plus" projects for starups. The key to it is to open Tencent's resources in physical space, technology, HR and capital, so as to grow with its partners.
