32 Major Projects Brought under Construction in CETDZ-GoChengdu

On March 12, 32 major projects involving green and smart vehicles in the first quarter started construction in the Chengdu Economic and Technological Development Zone (CETDZ).

Among the projects which are worth RMB36 billion in total, an LNG engine R&D and manufacturing facility co-invested by China and South Korea is valued at RMB16 billion, and an expanded new energy plant by Zhongzhi New Energy Vehicle Co., Ltd. (ZEV) RMB6 billion.

Upon completion, the project by ZEV will generate an annual sales revenue of RMB8 billion and a yearly profits tax of RMB1.2 billion.
