Traditional Chengdu Silver Filigree-which is a national-level ICH item and one of the best traditional handicraft articles in China-is on display along with Shu embroidery, bamboo weavings, black pottery ware, traditional musical instruments at the nine-day, sixth International Festival of Intangible Cultural Heritage (IFICH) , which is underway in Chengdu and will last till June 18.
The event displays intangible cultural heritage from around the world and hosts international conferences, forums, ICH competitions and other activities.
As of June 15, the festival has saw a big turnout of exhibitors and visitors who love culture and attracted over 12 million viewers online.
In order not to disturb the handicrafts who devoted themselves to the crafts items on site, the photographer of GoChengdu took every picture with the camera shutter's sound down. "This is my way to repect art," declared one staff from GoChengdu.
