Chengdu has tightened up quarantine measures for inbound arrivals to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
Travelers having visited hard-hit countries (regions) within 14 days before their arrival at Shuangliu International Airport will be sent to designated hotels, and undergo epidemiological investigation and nucleic acid testing.
Notes:
The hard-hit countries (regions) include Japan, South Korea, Italy, Iran, France, Germany, the United States, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Norway, Belgium, Austria, Denmark, etc.
People who have shown such symptoms as fever, fatigue and cough, or tested positive, will be immediately sent to hospitals for treatment.
Those who are tested negative and will stay in Chengdu will be placed in quarantine at designated places (or at their home in special cases) for 14 days.
Those to stay in other cities in Sichuan province will be transferred to their destination, and be kept in quarantine for 14 days.
For travelers from low-risk countries, they will also be sent to designated hotels and undergo epidemiological investigation and nucleic acid testing.
Those tested negative should isolate themselves at their home or at designated places for 14 days.
Notes:
People in home quarantine should reduce close contacts with their neighbors.
Once feeling symptomatic, they should promptly report to the community or local health departments.
People in quarantine should bear expenditures for their own lodging, dining and medical costs.
For those with basic medical insurance, the expenses can be covered by medical care.
If they cannot pay the medical bills, the fees can be covered with medical aid based on related laws.

The rules are liable to adjustments, and please confirm before coming to Chengdu.
