Foreign nationals and residents from Hong Kong, Macao SARs and Taiwan Province can now apply for the Health Code. Follow the hands-on guidance to register.
Tianfu Health Code is a QR system widely used by people living and working in Chengdu for the epidemic prevention and control, and an important assurance for the resumption of work and production as it offers instant identification of people entering work places, communities and other public places.
Now, foreign nationals, residents from the SARs of Hong Kong and Macao and Taiwan Province can also apply for the Health Code.
Following is a hands-on guidance.
Step 1. Registration
Foreign nationals, residents from Hong Kong SAR, Maocao SAR and Taiwan provincecan use the WeChat APP to scan the QR code to apply for the Tianfu Health Code.

Step 2. Declaration Entry
Log in the home page and enter the application page by "Click Here".
Step 3. Special Note of Your Declaration
When you enter the application page, you will see a special note of your declaration, which states that the information provided by foreign nationals is voluntary and not mandatory; and the information provided is only used for the prevention and control of the COVID-19. Users can select the language at the upper right corner, and proceed to the next step by clicking "Next".
Step 4. Information Filling
Foreign nationals, residents from Hong Kong and Macao SARs and Taiwan Province shall fill in the information based on actual conditions.
Special note: name and ID number must comply with one's ID documents.
Step 5. Information Review
The information is to be reviewed within 24 hours the review and to be processed. For the declaration that is not complete and fails the review, there will be hint on the page to remind the applicant for redeclaration.
Step 6. Health Code
Once the declaration is successfully processed, you can log on this APP to see the Code, whose color is classified according to health standards. Health information below the Code can be updated by the Code owner while name and ID Number cannot be changed. Health information can be updated only once within 24 hours as to avoid malicious manipulation.
