Dr. Barbara Mistick was delighted when she arrived at Sansheng Village on Nov. 1, 2014. Dr. Mistick is president of Wilson College in Pennsylvania, the US and the guest of “Chengdu on a Shoestring: footprints around the city”, a program sponsored by the website of www.gochengdu.cn.
As a well-known transportation hub and tourist city, Chengdu is famous for its extensive transportation system as it is the communication junction of Southwest China and the gateway to Tibet.
