The largest Startup Christmas Party of this year in Chengdu, with a participation of more than 500 people, was held by Startup Grind and WeWork on Dec. 8.
The Startup Christmas Party has come into its second year and this time it involved a broad spectrum of local and international startup ecosystem, with 500 participants, 40 speakers and 45 vendors present at the event.
Programs of the event took place on three floors, when participants shared experiences and insights on startups and topics such as "Design Thinking" and "How to be Popular via Online Video" sparked hot discussions.
Founded in Silicon Valley, Startup Grind is the world's largest independent startup community, actively educating, inspiring, and connecting 2,000,000 entrepreneurs in over 500 cities. Starting its business in Chengdu in 2017, Startup Grind has organized more events like Startup Christmas Party this time to connect all the startups in Chengdu and provided them useful information and opportunities to talk with successful startups and entrepreneurs in person. Dinis Gaspar Nunes, one of the organizers, said: "This event promotes the innovative business venture in Chengdu through creating awareness that Chengdu is a good hotspot for innovation and business.The purpose of organizing it was to create value that everyone could have a memorable experience."
