The second session of "GoChengdu Classes on World Culture" is to be launched this Sunday at Isetan Department Store, Chunxi Road, hosted by Watanabe Kazuk and Kawase Mikio from Japan.

The second session of "GoChengdu Classes on World Culture", organized by the website of gochengdu.cn, is to be launched this Sunday at Isetan Department Store, Chunxi Road, hosted by Watanabe Kazuk and Kawase Mikio from Japan.

Being a Japanese, Watanabe Kazuk has shown great interest in western-style food since his childhood, which brought him to Italy to learn Italian cuisine at the age of 19. He worked in a Michelin 2-star restaurant in Italy for 3 years. This Sunday, he will give a demo on how to make a heart-shaped pizza as a tribute to the upcoming Double-seven Day, the Chinese version of the Valentines Day.

Kawase Mikio will bring to the audience the authentic Japanese cuisine and an introduction of related culture. After graduating from a cooking college in Japan, Kawase Mikio began learning Chinese cuisine, especially Sichuan cuisine. He is running a Japanese food restaurant in Chengdu.
