My time spent at Sichuan University is an unforgettable experience for me: lifelong teachers, friends and lasting memories.
My name is Ram Babu Sah, a student from Nepal. Now I am studying for a doctoral degree in medicine in Sichuan University, Chengdu, China.
Choice of Further Education
After having obtained my bachelor’s degree, I chose to study abroad at Sichuan University, which is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I chose China because it is one of the world’s oldest civilizations with a rich history and culture. Many people believe that studying in Sichuan University is an expensive venture, but there are actually numerous scholarships available to foreigner students. Luckily, I am one of them to get a scholarship to study in the university.

At the very beginning, I began my study with Chinese language classes and then learned major surgery from February 2009 to 2012. Every day in the university was a new experience and an adventure for me. I began the word with “Nihao (Hello in Chinese)” and today I can even speak some Sichuanhua (Sichuan Dialect).
