Here's a guide for you to appreciate the cloud-like cherry blossom views in the suburban Chengdu.
Spring is in the air when thousands of cherry trees come into the blooming season on the Cherry Mountain in Guangming Township of Pujiang County in southwest Chengdu, dabbing the rolling terrain in white, pink colors, giving off subtle scents in vernal breezes and attracting visitors from near and far for an exciting sightseeing tour in early spring.
The destination of such a view is just about a one-hour drive from downtown Chengdu, making itself one of the best places to appreciate cherry blossoms. With an area of some 1,333 hectares, the Cherry Mountain is a sea of cherry flowers.
Since the sight of cherry flowering lasts only about half a month before it gives place to the views of the rapeseed flowers, the crabapple, oriental cherry and pear blossoms around the site, hurry up, or you'll miss it!
