World famous baker from Japan, Kikuya Naohiro, brought his new work to Chengdu.
Now have a look of the bread. Nothing extraordinary, but...
Under its homely look is the superior quality that is achieved by the top-class cream, milk, chocolate, fruits and, first of all, the artistry and professional dedication by Kikuya Naohiro, who took three days to bring forth this work, a unique French-style bread which is designed to perfectly fit Sichuan cuisine.
The bread is presented at Johan Paris, a newly-opened Japanese bakery at in99 Chengdu Yintai Centre. Kikuya Naohiro worked at the bakery June 15-18, when he displayed his new works and shared ideas with local fans on baking skills.
Kikuya Naohiro won the top prize in La Coupe du Monde de la Boulangerie, held in Paris in 2002.
"This bread is a special offer for Chengdu people. It is specially made according to my understanding of Sichuan cuisine. I hope local people could enjoy it and we would like to cooperate with some famous Sichuan restaurants."
"I only want to make delicious bread and make my guests happy," said Kikuya Naohiro.
