Cherry Hill in Pujiang County
Located in the southwest Chengdu’s Pujiang County, the Guangming Township has cherry orchards covering a total area of about 700 hectares. The place is frequented by urban holidayers at weekends, as owners of the orchards are also engaged in rural tourism service. Currently tourists can pluck fresh red cherries, enjoy rural barbecues and camping, and taste rustic and savory specialties.
Picking period: Mid April to early May
Price: 38 yuan per person for on-site picking (offering all-you-can-eat cherries); 8-15 yuan per 500 grams if you take the cherries you will have picked away
Surrounding tourist attractions: Mengzihe Canyon and Changtan River
