Panda Day at Royal Danish Embassy held in Beijing

Xing Er and Mao Er, two giant pandas from Chengdu, arrived in Copenhagen Zoo in Denmark on April 2019, symbolizing the launch of Sino-Denmark International Cooperation Research Program on Giant Panda.
In order to deepen the cooperation between China and Denmark on giant panda culture, science and education and humanity, 2019 Panda Day at Royal Danish Embassy, co-organized by Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding and Royal Danish Embassy to China and supported by National Forestry and Grassland Administration, was held in Royal Danish Embassy to China in Beijing on May 10.
The event highlighted a lot of Chinese giant pandas and Danish fairy tales elements in the layout and design, including photo exhibition of Chinese giant pandas preservation, art show of giant pandas fairy tale, etc. It also staged interactive activities like giant panda VR experience and postcard designing.
Bengt Holst, deputy director of Copenhagen Zoo, introduced the lives of the two pandas after their arrival in Copenhagen Zoo, "They are very healthy and used to their new home. We are so happy to welcome them and the Danish people love them so much."

Panda Express Lines in Service

Local bus service has since May 1 launched new bus lines, Panda Express Line 1 and Line 2, to provide easier accessibity to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding (the Panda Base).
