The 2019 World Police and Fire Games (WPFG) is just more than one week away.
On July 29, the Chengdu preparatory committee of the 2019 WPFG announced that Mr. Jackie Chan had been appointed as the image ambassador of the event to be open August 8 in Chengdu.
"Hi, I'm Jackie Chan. I wish the 2019 Chengdu WPFG a great success. This August, the joy and glory of Chengdu belong to police officers and firefighters from all over the world!" Mr. Chan says in the video.
Mr. Chan, one of the most famous Chinese film stars in the world, has played many police roles and impressed both Chinese and foreign audience.
Chengdu to be Venue for FIE Women’s Epee World Cup
Following the successful bid for the 2019 World Police and Fire Games (WPFG) and 2021 Summer Universiade, Chengdu recently won the bid to host the FIE Women’s Epee World Cup (China) for five straight years.
