Chengdu was the third Chinese city to make it into the top 30 on the list.
Sportcal, a world-leading provider of sports market intelligence, released recently its latest Global Sports Impact (GSI) Report, which aims to analyze and benchmark major events and their impacts using the GSI Project methodology.
The report indicates that this year, in terms of the GSI Nations Index, China tops all of its counterparts, and Chengdu ranks 28th among 608 cities worldwide, jumping from 89th a year ago. Following Beijing and Nanjing, Chengdu was the third Chinese city to make it into the top 30 on the list.
