"Unbelievable!" Mr. Edouard Cointreau, founder and president of the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards from France, acclaimed after trying the authentic Taoist food including Dongtian Kiwifruit Wine and Taoist Vegan Pork Chops.
The veteran gourmets shared their views about the dining experience after the meal: "It's awesome! Made from local ingredients, the food is cooked in such a delicate way that I will never forget." "I've heard over and over again that Taoist cuisine is highly healthy. Seeing is believing. No wonder it has been retained for more than 1,000 years."
During the tour, the guests watched a Taichi show at the new gate to Mt. Qingcheng, which was performed by Wang Yaoxiang, a student of Liu Suibin, the 36th generation leader of the Taoist sect Qingcheng. They also enjoyed Taoist tea and tea art performances, and watched the cooking process of the dishes served at the banquet.
