The contest focuses on specialty food and gastronomic culture.
Co-hosted by the Chengdu Media Group and Chengdu Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Chengdu Panda Asian Food Festival — Global Photo Contest has attracted over 10,000 entries so far. The registration for the event will be closed today. All award-winning works will be showed at the cuisine photo exhibition to be held inside the Chengdu Museum from May 15 to 22.
The organizing committee for the contest, which focuses on two themes — specialty food and gastronomic culture, will offer a total prize of RMB100,000 yuan (US$14,917.60) to 52 winners.
