City’s GDP Grows 7.5% Year-on-Year in First 3Qs-GoChengdu

Chengdu maintained a steady economic growth in this year’s first three quarters, official sources from the Information Office of the Chengdu Municipal People’s Government were cited as saying in recent days.

The city's growth in GDP in the first three quarters was almost flat from that of the first half, 0.8% higher than the national average and equal to that of the provincial average of Sichuan.

Balanced Development in Primary, Secondary & Tertiary Industries

Industrial Economy Keeping Steady Growth

The added value of industries above designated size increased 7.2%, 0.8% higher than that of this year's first half. And the current period inventory of industrial enterprises above designated size reached 95.7%.

Service Sector in Stable Growth

The service industry maintained a good momentum of growth and its total output increased 0.1% over that of a year ago.
