FISE World Chengdu to Kick off

The 2014 FISE (International Festival of Extreme Sports ) World Chengdu will kick off on October 24-26.
It is the first time for the event to take place in China. Initiated 17 years ago in Montpelier, France, the FISE (Festival International des Sports Extrêmes in French) is one of the biggest events of extreme sports in the world. In 2014, the FISE organizers have held competitions in places out of France, the first time in history. During the debut of the FISE in China, 90 athletes from 30 countries or regions across the world, including 9 from China, will take part in the sports meet.
The organizing committee revealed that various competitions such as BMX, roller skating, skateboarding and mountain biking will be staged. It hopes fans of extreme sports in Chengdu can enjoy the wonderful and interesting games.
